Dog lover, cat lady, equestrian, goat momma, nature enthusiast, and always covered in fur and slobber! I’ve worked with dogs and other creatures in quite a few different avenues since my teens, and have always known an animal oriented career was my calling! As a junior and senior in high school, I was involved in a technical program for Animal science where I received honor roll for my studies, have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker in the beautiful state of Colorado, have gotten comfortable with my canine body language deciphering while working at a popular North Fork dog daycare and boarding hotel, have gotten my hands dirty(Then clean!) as a dog bather, have been certified in dog obedience training, and ran DWBD successfully on the North Fork of Long Island NY for several years before moving to Virginia as well. My interest in dog walking/farm sitting came from a mix of my great loves… Dogs, horses and the outdoors! A day outside with a dog or horse is well spent, and that is what led me to finally start my very own pet care business. DWBD is currently run on a very small scale, guaranteeing caring and timely service every time we're walking or checking in on your furry babies! I am also Pet CPR and Emergency First-Aid Certified.
